Following National Allocation Day for primary school places, some families in the area may be reassessing their options—especially if they didn’t receive their first choice. One local school is offering a chance to take another look.
Clevelands Preparatory School, located in Bolton, is hosting a Reception Taster Morning on Friday 25th April, from 9:00am to 11:00am, for families with children aged 3 to 5.
The event gives families the opportunity to experience life in Reception at Clevelands, meet teachers, and explore the learning environment. It comes at a key time for parents weighing up next steps after allocation results.
Reception teacher Laura Skitt, who has worked at the school for the past 18 months, says the school prides itself on its small class sizes, strong values, and broad curriculum that includes Forest School sessions and specialist teaching in subjects like sport, music and drama.
“We want families to know they still have choices,” Skitt said. “This taster morning is a welcoming way to see what Clevelands is all about.”
The school is inviting interested families to book a place in advance via its website: www.clevelandsprepschool.co.uk/admissions/open-days-events, or by calling 01204 843898.
