Police in Westhoughton have seized a vehicle displaying false registration plates after stopping it on Townsfield Road on Wednesday.
Upon further investigation, officers from the Westhoughton Neighbourhood Policing Team discovered that the car’s original plates were linked to drug dealing and anti-social behaviour in the local area.
A spokesperson for the police said: “We are committed to disrupting criminal activity in Westhoughton and ensuring our communities feel safe.”
Police are urging residents to report any concerns about drug activity, ASB, or crime by contacting them directly. Anyone with information can reach out to officers through official channels or local community engagement events.
